Thermometers
Unexplained temperature changes tend to be found at haunted locations. So it is useful to have a thermometer as part of your equipment. There are two main types of thermometers used for paranormal investigation. The most popular is the infra red thermometer, it looks like a hand gun and measures surface temperatures e.g walls, floor. It does not measure the temperature of the air which is why this isn't always the best thermometer to use. The other thermometer used is the digital thermometer. This measures the temperature of the air. There are many different versions of the digital thermometer on the market, many (like the infra red thermometer) have lit LCD screens so you can easily see the screen in the dark. As these measure air temperature they are best for paranormal investigation as they can measure any temp changes in cold spots, warm spots etc.
